Hmmm... that is odd. But, I'm that much of a hardware person, so I don't know what to tell you.
Maybe ask the Tech guys from EQ2, on the Tech Support forums?

I would say that this is an issue with either your CPU or you GPU overheating, check that all fans are correctly placed and are running at proper capacity. Also check your temps after it reboots by having a look at the temps in CMOS. One other thing check all your drivers are up to date, might be a problem with your GPU trying to do more than it should and cauing some issues.

Hey Fonz, some great ideas so far. Trouble is it could be one of a million things.
Did you build that rig, or is it a shelved(purchased package) PC?
Since it seems consistant there may be an answer somewhere. Ill try and look at a few sites for you and see what I come up with.
---------------------------------------------------------
I have checked some sites, including the Tech Forum at the official SOE site, seems the options are endless.
If you can, grab Dreads Link and look those threads over.
First advice though, I agree with Osmo, make sure all your drivers are updated. I have noticed several XP SP2(on the Tech forums) issues for duel core's. The only trouble with the manual fixes is the System Reg adjustments, use at your own risk stuff.
Keep us in the loop Fonz, we will try to help where we can.

I may not have any better info for you than you have already received but I can tell you from experience that Evercrack is a huge resource hog.
Indeed, check fans etc. Sounds like a very common overheating problem. You might also want to check your power supply. It could be going bad.
Also, make sure you are not running anything else besides your OS when playing EQ. This means checking your task manager for anything else that may be eating bits of your CPU.
Run spybot and Ad-Aware (Ad-Aware is great. free version from Lavasoft), to remove any spyware and/or adware etc that may be trying to monitor just what you re doing online. It really makes a difference. A zillion tiny programs put together and running at the same time can make or break your game experience.
Just some food for thought.
