| Diety System is it a rant or rave? |
So with the EOF third expansion to EQ2 came the diety system that allowed you to pledge your toons to a particular in game divine being that could grant your toon blessings and or miracles. Now that the system has been in place almost 6 months how do you all feel about this feature? Would you give it a rant or a rave?

No rant and no rave...
I haven't done a thing with deities yet. I did read a little bit about it lately but still no clue which to choose for my Swashy. But now I hear there may be new ones in the upcoming expansion so no rush really.

and just to complicate things the next expansion coming out in November will add even more choices to the list. For some players the choice as to which diety they will go with is very clear such as healers going with Tunare, Paladins with Mithaniel Marr, and Dwarves and crafters going with Brell but for other toons the path is not so clear now. Of course I drew those examples from the "good" side and welcome any input from the evil side of the fence. :)
One benefit of the diety system is that it has given a use to "no-trade" items that were previously treated as vendor junk. Such items can now be made into and offering at your dieties altar and in return you will be granted favor with your diety to be used towards blessings and miracles.
