I ran out of time yesterday to bring up the fact that it had been 2 years since the release of the Splitpaw Saga 2nd Adventure pack for EQ2. Has anyone played this one through and does anyone have any observations to add? My guild played through the Bloodline Chronicles 1st adventure pack and found it to be a great and rewarding though sometimes challenging time. Ooo will sneak one last question in do the Gnolls in Splitpaw still give good faction with the Centaurs of the Thunderinmg Steppes (Faction name = The Great Herd).

I loved the Bloodlines Chronicles! Although I hear a lot of people say it's not worth the coin, I have to disagree. Our group of 3 had a great time tearing up those vamps!
Splitpaw... well my verdict is still out. Some of those quests need a really good span of time to get through and the spawn rate in some is just ridiculous fast. But it's kinda cool with the way you have to use the barrels to blow up things, stack boxes to get on top of ledges, and use planks to cross gaps. I mean it's really satisfying to blow up walls and take out a few gnolls in doing so! :-)

I loved Bloodlines as well but finding Splitpaw a bit taxing though I think a tipping point will come in the game after the first 3 or 4 quests are completed where this Adventure pack will become more enjoyable for now though it seems pretty tough. Part of what makes it so tricky is that a lot of what is this Adventure pack was being test for use with Desert of Flames. The use of moveable objects, the extension of the breakable objects from Bloodline was augmented with the explosive barrels and the regular use of height and dangerous falls was part of what made this Adventure pack an important next step but also more challenging for the player. In short I find this one a bit frustrating at times but also recognize I may need to give it more time and most of all patience.
