I take it that EQ has some sort of a guild system? Possibly even a guild emblem (i.e. WoW has tabards and Dark Age of Camelot had guild logos in capes.) So, if there are any in EQ, what does yours look like?
What's your current guild like and what sort of things do you do together as a guild? O.o
Just snooping around out of curiousity! ^^

OH yes Guilds are a huge part of EQ2 and yes like DAOC Guild emblems are displayed on character capes and cloaks as seen in the pick below.
In EQ2 guilds are leveled by specific quests and objects found in the game and while somes can be completed individually the ones that really pay off big in terms of Guild Level XP are called Heritage Quests and tend to be heavily weighted towards Group and Raid adventuring. As Guild progress they earn certain in game extras. Here is a very brief idea of what the first few guild levels bring. The current Guild level cap is 60 but that should be raised to 80 with the release of the next game expansion on November 13th.
Guild Level 1 - Players can start buying certain guild only goods through city merchants and the guild members have access to 4 guild banks. Simple home crafting gear becomes available as well as some paintings and other decorative items for your apartment in town. Basic Guild clothing.
Basic mounts available at guild discount rates where guild status can be substituted for cash.
Guild Level 5 - The guild name is now always displayed above guild members. Improved in town fancy clothing available. The first guild raid become available.
Guild Level 10 - 2 room housing (fancy apartments) becomes available at guild rates along with additional guild status items. Upon earning this level your guild accomplishment is broadcast to the entire server.
Guild Level 15 - You may now purchase a mailbox for use inside your apartment and minor improvements to available home items etc. An improved grade of mounts become available to you.
Guild Level 20 - Very significant as it increases the number of slots in the guild bank, allows the purchase of an in town 3 room house with guild status and cash, increases the quality of mounts available for purchase with status as well as clothing and in home items. Upon reaching this level a server broadcast is sent.
The list goes on much the same with Guild level 25 being significant for adding the highest quality in home crafting gear and at Guild level 30 personal titles like Sir and Madam becoming available. Also in the near future Guild Level with determine the size of your Guild Hall.

Reminds me so much of DAoC that I almost want to try out EQ T.T

We are currently at Guild Level 26 and add about 12.5% toward the next level every week. I think I left out that at Guild Level 15,30, and the current cap 60 the guild leader can add embeleshments to the cape/cloak. At this time the various guild reward are basically given on 5th and 10th levels.

Does EQ have different servers for Europeans and Americans?
'Cos I was thinking that I might try out the 7 day free trial, once I get enough HD space for it. <.<
And if I do that, I wanna see you and your famous guildies OL. :D Maybe you could even teach me how to kill a sewer rat?O.o

Oh yes indeed EQ2 has 6 International servers 5 of which are European with 2 having English as the primary language, 2 German, and 1 French. None of the Euro servers are open PVP but you can duel on the PVE servers as long as the other player agrees or you enter an Arena.
