| Contest question thread and a place for new folks. |

With the ROK beta key contest going on I thought it would be good to start a post where folks can post any questions regarding the contest or for new people just to say hello. :)

Hey guys new member myself just reading through the forums and seems like a great community glad I saw the post on the eq2 forums! no questions right now as im about to go have a play around with the features and see whats what, but no doubt ill be back if I get confused.
Glad to be here and hope to talk to you all some more later

Hello, I was referred to your site by the first post up top and
I have to say that I do like the ease of this site. Pretty positive I will be back more if I ever get stuck or need some none flaming and non whining forums.

Welcome to GameAmp's EQ2 section and great to see a 2nd member of your guild here. You picked a fantastic time to join as the EQ2 section will have another contest around the time of ROK's release so check back for further details! No flaming here and I hope you find to be the people who stop by here to be friendly and helpfull and the new folks that have stopped by since the contest was launched fit right into that from what I have seen. :)

Hi everyone, thought I would write a few words, introduce myself :)
My name is Andy, nickname Oliix and I was referred here by Kewi (hey boss) :P
I would like to say that this forum is very different and quite colourful (colorful - kewi :P) I'm also from the same guild (SGD) as Kewi and Gapik (they are my leaders :P) haha
and I expect this site will be usefull for now and the future.

Welcome and glad to have you and your guildmates with us! :) I know my guild uses the free guild forums here as a back up whenever the SOE official forums are down and it also has a feature where you can track your guilds accomplishments like your first raid, guild levels, and other things you deem significant.

That's a pretty cool feature to have :) I don't think as a guild we have used soe forums as a base for our guild as we have our own websetie and forum at: www.someonegonnadie.com (thank you Karen) so we basically keep in touch there along side ingame chat and Ventrilo :)

It is just awesome haveing you here Khirlian! The rest of you may want to know I am down to the last few beta keys so if you act fast you may get one! For a last minute contest this has gone pretty well and everyone will benefit from some of the great new folks here bringing new questions and points of view. For those of you that are new I might point out that as a member you can submit good material to the site even as a member without having to be on staff and if it is accepted you earn points towards leveling your account like you level a character.

Hello everyone, I am new to the site and have found some interesting information here. I am Zorastiz, Iksar Necromancer of the 53rd season.
I have been playing EQ2 since this past summer, I also played EQ1 for several years before a long hiatus from MMO's.

Hi Karen and Warpig, nice to see you! I hope you have fun in your time here with us at GameAmp.
And Karen any bugs you can PM me and I will try to fix it or pass it on to the developers and they can fix it. I do the same thing (only I like to break things to find the bugs!)

and it goes without saying we are really thrilled by all the nice new people we have stopping by now. We hope folks are able to enjoy all the goodies GameAmp has to offer.
It was just a little over a year ago when I came here as a user and quickly developed a great fondness for this place and the people that lurk about it. :)
