| Frostell is on it's way... |

Right now GU #41 is on the test server and when it goes live you can be sure we will have a news item here on GameAmp with the final info tied to the live version but for now we can all start to get excited about the return of Frostfell. So what are all of you looking forward to the most? The daily gifts, crafting, and specialized harvesting are things people have enjoyed before but what about this years Frostfell is going to put a twinkle in your eye and make you forget that your boss is all over you to complete the year end reports summaries and analysis and perhaps you still have shopping to do or food to prepare but not right away you have some game things to do. ;P

Frostfell is Norrath's winter holiday. :-) Taken from the EQ2 forums:

Don't forget to log in each day and claim your extra-special Frostfell present from everyone's favorite Frostfell elf Gardy Giftgiver!

Gooey!?? ... dang, Tyr has bruises from some of your fruitcakes. :-) The clock is counting down and the race to cook up those throwables will soon be on!

Winter Holidays are awesome! Those screenshots are very nice, I like your trees and outfits for holiday. I know GW does these cool hats (i want a hat!) and Blizzard has pets and stuff.
Hope yours is as fun as ours, we get to throw snowballs at each other!

Sounds neat you two. :-) What are the pets?
EQ2 has Santa hats as well. The food on the table is all Frostfell crafted food as well and can be consumed, although not as good as regular provisioner made food. The gifts given out in past years that I know of have been music boxes... different ones with different tunes... and last year was snowglobes (Tyr has a set of each). That's probably why Tyr has such a space issue in her home!

It seems that WOW, EQ2, and Vanguard are all getting high marks for the way the holiday events were implemented this year. I am glad I at least got to check out Frostfell this year and hope to enjoy a bit more before it is over. Folks that have the chance will want to look at the WOW section as well and catch some nice posted screenshots if you do not stop by already. :) With luck the VG section might get a screenie or too as well.
