Ok, just built yet ANOTHER system. Will I be able to run EQ2 on MAX settings with no lag NOW? Here are my new specs...
PROCESSOR: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 6MB L2 cache overclocked to 3.6GHz per core
Motherboard: Asus Maximus Formula SE
CPU Heatsink/Fan: Silverstone Nitrogon NT06
OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows Vista Ultimate
MEMORY: 4GB DDR2 1066 PC8500 Corsair 5-5-5-12 latency
HARD DRIVE: 500GB Serial ATAII Hard Drive 7200RPM 16MB cache
VIDEO CARD: ATI Sapphire Radeon HD3870 512MB DDR4 256-Bit
MONITOR: Samsung 932GW 19" Widescreen
SOUND CARD: M-Audio Revolution 5.1
INTERNET CONNECTION: Comcast

Yes, that system sounds fine to me, i can run everything on maximum on my old and aging ati mobility radeon x1600 EXCEPT shadows.

Yes you should be able to run at max settings with that system and I think the limited response is due to few players having that particular setup at this time. Just curious over the years I have seen other such posts from you. What were the previous attempts like; that it to say how did it play with the other setups?
