Even with Rise of Kunark expansion for Everquest II only a little over a month away the developers have not forgotten about the live game and plan to release the next Game Update on October 17th. Game Update 39 will feature the Shard of Fear a level 70 group oriented zone that can visited via the Fear Gate in Feerot. Next on the plate will be an enhanced guild bank feature that will allow Guild Leaders to rename bank tabs and add contents comments per bank. Also a lot of buzz is going around saying that both Variety and SciFi Wire are reporting that the Everquest movie is back on track. More details should be revealed in the near future.
... and michael gordon of 300 is to write the screenplay. just watched that movie recently and loved it. will be interesting to see what he does with eq2. :-)
